This question, among many others, is what my new art projects LUNAS AWAKENING and LICHTWELTEN (light worlds) are about, two projects of the heart that belong together.
In my own animated soap opera, I show how Luna expands her consciousness episode by episode, how her life evolves as she learns to trust her inner voice more and more.
In our collaborative work of LICHTWELTEN, we create two-dimensional images of worlds we would like to travel to for recreation or learning. Because it is so peaceful there. Because it is so creative and loving there.
We can feel spiritually comfortable in this world. No hit him! and watch out! and you jerk. In the LICHTWELTEN, there are no opponents. There is only growing together.
A few years ago, I had already tried to teach myself 2D animation, using the excellent animation software Moho. It was just a bit too complicated for me at the time, since not only the software, but the whole subject of 2D animation was a completely new field for me.
And there was another reason why I quickly lost my enthusiasm. I just couldn’t think of any stories that I could animate. During my time as a professional image film producer, I had learned it again extensively:
A good story always needs a beginning, a middle, and an end. And in between, if possible, TENSION.
I no longer had any relation to such a fixed, rigid structure, I didn’t want to proceed in such a calculating, methodical way, pre-program a climax. We could say that this is the way of the Yang.
Today, I take a different approach to my artistic or creative projects, I give them the necessary space and then let them develop intuitively and creatively.
At some point, I realized that I didn’t need a three-part structure in my stories. Every soap opera shows a continuously running story of one or more main characters, there’s no need for a beginning, middle and end.
As a story creator of an ever-expanding story, I of course have to start by thinking about the direction I want the story arc to take. In keeping with my three books written in 2020, I wanted to move it in an expanding and uplifting direction.
This means that my main character Luna should learn something new with each episode of the ongoing soap opera LUNAS AWAKENING, spiritual gifts that she immediately incorporates into her daily life routine.
She learns, gets new insights, and beautiful things happen too, I think that will be exciting enough to tell. I don’t need any opponents and no opposition.
Maybe we can do the same in the LICHTWELTEN? We create animated worlds where we can learn something new and open our feelings.
We all already know the other, old stories with the against each other.
Let’s create something new instead.
